The website just went live for Project Arbiter, including the teaser trailer.

    Synopsis:
Set in 1943, the height of WWII, this is a story about an experimental O.S.S. unit code named Project Arbiter. Thousands of feet above Northern Europe a small plane carries a skeleton crew of the Allies best, including Special Fields Op. Captain Joseph Colburn. His handler, Major Thomas Hardy does a final review of the mission’s grim intel: infiltrate a mysterious villa on the Polish border and uncover it’s secrets. Colburn emerges donning a prototype suit, which can temporarily render it’s occupant invisible. As the plane’s bay doors howl open Colburn begins to put on the skull-faced helmet when the plane is rocked by an anti-aircraft shell. Rapidly losing air pressure and altitude, now there’s no question... this is a one-way mission.

We've been working on this for a year and a half. We've got a great crew assembled and principal photography begins in May.

100% shot on Red #5744, "Celeste".

Exteriors shot on build 18, interiors shot on Build 20-dot-something

It was lensed on Nikon primes (plus one Sigma!)

    Nikon 14mm f/2.8
    Sigma 20mm f/1.8
    Nikon 24mm f/2.8
    Nikon 35mm f/2.0
    Nikon 50mm f/1.4
    Nikon 85mm f/1.8

One light in Redcine-X, somewhere around build 50. (I think they are at, like, build 300 or something now... I can't keep up!)

Edited in FCP, some 3 way color correction there.

Processed through a Psuedo-HDR filter in Photoshop CS4 to 16 bit tiffs.
    (mostly for a micro-contrast boost)

I'll try to post some b4/after shots when I can find the time.

Stitched and some final color tweaks in AE.

This story has no relation to Halo, other than the suit being built by some guys that build MC suits for cons and such:

The whole thing is low/no budget and self financed by the director.
