I am sooo jealous.
very neat :)
This will be an awesome test. White cars in harsh sunlight... no panzya$$ light modifiers making a perfect environment.
The camera they are using to shoot the BTS photos sure sucks in comparison to RED. :-)
So let's see who gets the best footage out first - The NYC teams or the LA teams! So no audio enabled yet, are they recording audio with something else?
Ya do what ya gotsta do.
:D
We were at an airfield out in the middle of nowhere with no internet access, I couldn't sync pics with my iPhone from laptop due (skip long boring edge case story), and the take pic with iPhone, Send To Web Gallery function was too convenient and awesome not to use. Not coincidentally, probably 15-20 iPhones at Red Day Zero in Orange County - cutting edge tech early adopter crowd.
also - all MOS stunts, no audio. But we WERE catching audio with the HVX200 witness cams, so in theory we could manually align, but no clapper or slates used - all run and gun. We got an AMAZING amount of footage done considering we were shooting stunts with multiple cars, camera truck w/crane, and the safety issues of a 20 person crew (with LOTS of BTS and stills being shot) around multiple car high speed stunts. Drivers East folks ROCKED - very professional and on their marks. So did everybody else for that matter.
