    The shot of the globe looks great. Have you thought about trying a thicker atmosphere? Or is it not visible unless the angle to the sun is much flatter? http://www.leatherwoodonline.com/ee/...ds/auarora.jpg

    I see. I suppose to see the glowing atmosphere the camera would have to be closer to an opposed angle to the sun, kind of like seeing rays of light through smoke.

    Are you thinking about using anamorphics?
