Custom Designed Frame Guides

Hi,

... I wonder if it is possible (... or could be made into a feature ...)
to load custom designed frame guides into the camera.

As DOP or Director, one could design a visual grid and provide it as a vector eps or an image format with alpha channel.

It might be self stretching to the recording resolution / ratio or stick on the center.

Ideally, one would upload a couple of them and be able to choose for a specific shot.

Whats your thinking ... ?

If I'm not mistaken, you already have that function. You can create custom frame guides in-camera and save them as a part of your user preferences. I think it even gets saved to the SD card .RPF. Go to the frame guides and on the far right is "Custom"

"This sub-menu provides a selection of frame guides and safe action and safe title guides. User definable safe action and safe title guides may be saved as a USER PREFERENCE, thereby permitting the camera guides to be fully customized for any application."

What i am thinking about is UPLOADING Custom Frame Guides,
which could be ANY SHAPE, not just the linear safe guides.

Curves for example.

This would help in matching graphical composition over shots.

Coming in Epic, not available for R1s, if I'm not mistaken (don't think you get it with Scarlet either, but could be wrong there)...
