  1. #1 MetaFuze Multiple Transcode Question
First RED Edit I've done. Stumbeling my way thru, watched a ton of vids and read walkthru's on avid's site but have one question that's killing me. For some reason when I select all Transcodes(ctrl+shift+a) in Metafuze, they select, but when I try to change a field (format,resolution,burn-in, etc), the change is only applied to one of the clips instead of all. Right now dealing with 250+ clips. Did painstaking way to let them go overnight, but getting another 500+ clips tomorrow... really don't feel like tweaking that many settings on that many clips. Used detail panel and tried about everything the video walkthru's (Avid Screencast #8 & MidwestMediaGroup's on Vimeo) showed me to no avail. Basically it looks like I do exactly the same thing they do but with different result. Uninstalled and re-installed about 3 times before I bit the bullet and went ahead manually just to get em going. Editing on Avid MC, Vista-Biz Machine, Metafuze V2.1. Transcoding for offline edit, R3D 2K images down to mxf 1080 23.976p, DNxHD 36, Eight Good res with Low Debayer and default Key Number & TimeCode Burn-In. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

This issue has been escalated and is being worked on. From what I've heard, a fix is out soon.

In final stages of testing it. I will post here as soon as it is available.

Thanks for the heads up it's a software issue and not me just being stupid. I appreciate the quick response from both of ya. MichaelP, any rough idea of how long til it's posted? Hours, Day, Days, Week, Weeks, Etc?

    How about right now? :D

Version 2.1.1 addresses the issue you (and others) encountered.

Be aware that you still need to hit the Enter key on the numerical keypad of your keyboard to make these settings "take" on the selected clips.

Posted a bit earlier than allowed.
Note from Avid: We are currently testing the download in the Download Center and the www.avid.com/metafuze page but they wont be live until early next week. We need to ensure the integrity of the downloads there. Once live on these sites, I will let you know.

Note that it is always advised to first uninstall the existing version of MetaFuze, prior to installing the new version.
