What is the chance that he is going to get himself a RED camera and post here about it?
Michael Bravin was one of the earliest buyers of a Red camera. I believe his original reservation number was 51.

I think it is unfortunate that we can't communicate about other choices and how we can try to match to Red footage coming from the Red One, forthcoming Scarlet and Epics.

I know I learned a lot from other users and it was my 2nd favorite thread compared to Recon. In fact, much of the comparisons swayed me AWAY from Canon 7D...

Isn't open dialogue and transparency in choices outside of Red, be it accessories, lenses or cameras, valuable market research that can be used internally by Red?

Why not let us blab away so you can keep your finger on where we are snooping around while waiting for product to release?

Let's move on. If you want to discuss those cameras, there are plenty of places to do it online.
Does that mean no more time lapses stuff. I'll miss that.

That was not the majority of the content of the section. Was it? I didn't check much. For actual 7D discussion I go to 7D dedicated forums. You'll find more info there.

Threads discussing this topic, that stay on topic, still remain: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=39339

Very well, close it. The information posted might at least be available. There was some valuable stuff posted there. A few of us don't care about brand policies, whatever. For that data's sake, that is all. In the name of filmmaking. Thank you.

Did someone say that all this would be a lot of fun until Jim comes home and locks the liquor cabinet back up....

Jim is back home and the cabinet is locked up. We will have to figure out what can be done about that...
