    Thanks for saying this!

I thought it was coming this next Sunday, so I was getting excited, then I realized it was a commercial I taped a week ago...

I watched most of the episodes, and recorded the ones I couldn't watch onto my HDR (Direct TV) for later viewing. You and your team did a superb job with these programs Frederic! The amount of historical and archival research involved in a project that large simply boggles the mind. I'm not surprised it took 2 years to complete - I would have guessed even longer. Knowing you, and your passion for historical projects like that, I'm sure that passion got you and your excellent team through the endless maze of details.

I tip my hat (baseball cap!) to you and your team. In a television world thoroughly infested with low-budget reality programs, it is so heartening to see a team with integrity resolve step forward and create such high production value historical documentaries. Again...my deep kudos to you and your team on those programs.

Great finds on the footage. I also like the way you structured the story lines, following individuals, especially the reporters.

Amazing. Powerful. From a guy who reads as many historical novels as possible, brought a lot to life for me. Thank you, Frederic!

Does that mean you used the RED ONE with some special macro lens to focus on an enlarged gate of a modded projector instead of using a proper film scanner to do telecine of original 16mm footage? interesting, could the GPIOs be used to sync with the film transport?
