I didn't even realize Fincher was already shooting his next picture. Great news.
Hey Jim,
I've got a feature starting up in Chicago in a month and they've decided to go with my RED One package. I'll be shooting outside a lot in the beautiful Chicago winter. Any chance I can upgrade my RED One with the M-X sensor for some cold weather testing?
okay - now its safe for me to say that its awesome seeing the upgrades in action on set everyday!
i've always had intense respect for fincher reading about him. how he's so involved in all planes of production, post, and pre. i read an article about him with benjamin button and his editors would give him a insane turn around with the dailies and comment on what's missing for the cut and he'd take heed to it and understand all aspects and shoot for the story, shoot for the cut, and is really meticulious with his methods. i'm sure he and his team or crafting together something great right now with brand new tools in arsenal to accomplish that. it's not often people would be the testers for essentially a new camera on a big film.
That is fantastic news Jim. Both hearing that Fincher is working on a new movie and that he is shooting with the RED One. Congratulations to the whole team at RED.
This is perfect! Now I can see this movie in theaters because its David Fincher and its shot with a Red One using M-X and my girlfriend will like it because she loves Facebook and Justin Timberlake is in it.
Score!
Enough with the teasing! Where are the stills & sample footage?
Seriously- congrats, sounds like Team Red is hitting out of the ball park again. I can wait to see what this next sensor will produce. :)
