Can someone translate?
Hey Jim, for those of us who don't entirely understand what we're seeing here, is there a chance that you could add another line representing the Mysterium in the Red One as it is now, so that we have a frame of reference for comparison? That would be great. Thanks.
Peace,
-Harry
That looks very promising, I can sense the excitement over at RED these days, please keep them info leaks coming, no need to spare it all untill the 30th!
Looks like about 11.5-12 usable stops?
Oh damn. Looks like you won't even need Monstro.
;}
Stouffer 4110 is a transmitive step chart that is back lit, every step has a visual density, Is like a series of ND's in one chart (in the case of stouffer 4110 in a 13 2/3 stops range), Jim is showing a 12,2 stops of DR in the stuffer 41 step chart, for M-X sensor...!
It will be great if you post a 16 bit linear tiff frame...
Well done Jim.
I'll probably be crushing blacks anyway, so this is the film replacement, right here. The highlights stay in the picture.
* And rate it at 1600. hehe
