Pretty understandable change of heart Jim, and I believe it to be a very smart move, even so many would not mind at all having an other working in progress new camera system, I believe that cause of the design, and the specs, and various offering, this time around the customers number will be indeed far larger, and there for will be safer to ship a finished product, as even those that would not want to deal with a work in progress if it was to be released, they would buy it any ways, and then BItch from ere to China about it.
So look forward to the 30th.

Thanks, for anyone planning major projects, this is the best news we can get, either way. We can set expectations on good or bad news. Too bad my next project won't be a RED one, but at least I don't have to delay it hoping. Does not change my position to buy!
Too bad you can't do it both ways, I think a lot of us would not mind beta testing, and act as a testing ground for your whole delivery pipeline. Of course I'm a scarlet so that would count me out anyway!
But non the less, this is terrific news! Thanks for letting us know.

Oct 30? Why so soon? Why not push the annoucement to Oct 31? For the competition's sake, this'll give them something to be scared about on Halloween.
