I just saw 'Stardust' and there is much to it that is a visual feast. When Tristan first sees Yvaine, the color of the light, the shine of her gown was priceless.
But there were were times when I saw more grain than I wanted to see, particularly in dark scenes, and depth of field was not what I thought was right. It was clear that this was not an artistic choice, but a choice dictated by the lens and film.
I came away from it thinking that it would have looked better with a Red.
