    Nice! Every tidbit means we're getting closer...

    Was this a testbed/transmission-style RED ONE upgrade or is it more hardware-complete at this point? Any word on the new sensor's recordable resolutions?

    Not to barrage with questions, but are we likely to see the RED ONE upgrade prior to an Epic or Scarlet release? Or am I just getting ahead of myself?

    no noise reduction done whatsoever...

    its amazing, just looking in the LCD the difference in noise is dramatic..

    This sensor upgrade was done to one of my "normal" first RED ONEs that is now a day away from being exactly 2 years old.... all the great camera builds that have come and gone have always given me a new camera feeling, but this sure takes the cake.

    We know that a few other companies are going to announce/release some new models. Trust me when I tell you they are still behind.
