This is the first time I've tried using red rushes since installing FCS3, and Build 20.1.3 on the camera, and rr only renders 1 frame; and nothing appears in the output folder??

I then tried to rr some footage shot on Build 20.1.2 (which I've previously successfully rr) and got "error".

    I'm running RedAlert 20.1.6, QT codec 3.8.

I reinstalled the latest build of RedAlert (20.1.6) but still got the same problem/error.

EDIT: Just tried to export the same clip with the same settings using RedAlert and it WORKED, so the problem would seem to be isolated to red rushes...

I'm using the same workflow I've been successfully using for about 6 months (copy media from red drives onto my MacPro's internal RAID).

We've got a shoot on Saturday and I've got to have this working...help!

Try using "render in terminal" from redalert.
redrushes uses redline also, so that could point to what might be wrong.

Thanks for your prompt response Deanan. Please excuse my ignorance, but how does this help?

"render in terminal" in RA uses redline the same way redrushes uses redline also. If there is a problem, in RA using this method then it could help me at least figure out what problem you're having.

Sounds like REDline didn't get installed.

Can you try reinstalling the REDalert package?

Thanks Deanan-- I actually already did a reinstall of RedAlert 20.1.6. Do I need to do some kind of "uninstall" first, because I didn't do any uninstall??

What's odd is that this was all working perfectly prior to FCS3...

Yeah, very odd. If you open a terminal and type REDline, does it work?
