I am looking for a way to capture SDI in on a MBP. Is there a mini converter that has SDI in with a FW800 or FW400 connection?
    Thanks.

While likely overkill Nir, I have an Aja IO-HD and it works quite well for this.

    Best,

    Thanks Steve.
Yes looked at the IO and IO express there also is the cute little KI pro but these are all bit more than I need. Was hoping there would be a smaller/cheaper/less complicated strait forward converter solution to send an uncompressed SDI in via FW.
    Cheers.

itīs a lot cheaper, i donīt know how good it is though, i have tha ioHD too.

thought about buying a MXO2 with the MAX option (realtime h264 encoding) though.

    cheers
