Pawel: Your DeepX is a cool housing and I wouldn't mind shooting it on my next feature - I'm sure there are a couple shots that would benefit from a slightly smaller housing,

How fast do those jetboots go? They look so small, could they be faster than fins?

It was awesome being underwater off Maui surrounded by whales and have Jason zoom past with his jet boots on. They call him Marine Boy!

Is Pawel's DeepX currently the smallest underwater housing for the epic?

Yes, it is. At 4.5kg (10 lb), it is less than half weight of other housings. Or, you can connect two together ...with different lenses on each.
It can be taken as carry on luggage on a plane...with the camera, battery, monitor and lens...all under 10kg (22 lbs).

Some very beautiful shots Jon. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Have been doing some TVC pool stuff with my Deep Epic but this was the first real open ocean test footage. Quick and dirty cut, conditions weren't great, vis on the wreck was 5-7m, Fish Rock was better at 15m vis but the depth was reasonably deep at about 30m. I am going to sound like every other guy with a Red but the vimeo thing just doesn't do it justice. I watched it on a 2K projector and it looked flippin awesome..... and that is at half res.
