Wondering if anyone can help with this.

In the month since we've gotten our RED we've been unable to get the LCD monitor we want. My boss thinks the 7 inch LCD will have features that allow us to adjust ISO, shutter speed, etc from the actual monitor as opposed to the camera. I'm pretty sure that no matter if its the 5.6 inch monitor, 7 inch, or EVF, we will need to control those features from the camera. Is that true?

Secondly, I know the monitors come with an optional 10 foot cord that will allow us to say, be inside a helicopter with the camera rigged to the bottom. However, will we be able to adjust all those features from inside the helicopter? If not, is there a remote control or any other suggestion anyone on the board might have for our little query.

    Thanks kindly.

The 5.6 and 7 inch monitor will not control the ISO, frame rate, shutter angle, or mic 1 & 2 gains. The EVF will.
