WTF: Proxies no longer RT with new FCP L&T?

Anybody else have this issue or a solution?

I installed and updated all the software necessary to support the new Log and Transfer workflow into FCP and now none of my _H proxies nor the rewrapped R3ds will play back in realtime on the timeline (The rewrapped R3d native files will if video out is turned off). Before this I could cut the _H proxies no problem in realtime with output through a Blackmagic Multibridge Extreme at 1080P. But now even with output disabled I can't get the _H proxies to playback properly!

Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you check if you somehow changed the video quality from dynamic to somehtingelse? In my case, even with 8 core with RAID system, I wasn't able to do H proxies in realtime.

I reverted back to the V3.1 Quicktime Codec and things seem to be better...
More testing will tell.

Hey I am having the same problem with my quicktime proxies not playing back in the fcp timeline. I reverted back to 3.1 and it still didn't work. Is there something I need to throw away and re-install or am I missing something? I want to still be able to edit with the proxy files?

Any help would be great!

Is this a Final Cut Preference that I can choose?

I've notice that if I edit with 4k 16:9 if I change the RT to Low or High it affects the quality of the playback and I am able to play full frame rate on my M (I am editing now with a MacBook Pro... I know it is not the best way, but I can greatly use proxies in M mode.)

But now If I shoot 4k HD mode, which I think It is supposed to be better for speed as we end up on a 1080 directly with the H, It is very strange.

If I put the H, I get the RT mode, but it doesnt matter what Full, Low or Dynamic setting I use, it always stays on Full, so my frame rate is really low.

If I decide to go lower and use the M, then I don't even get the RT mode!!, and it goes directly to Render (Red bar) If I change the settings of the sequence to Redcode, the red bar disappears and i can edit, but if apply effects I can't render them.

What's wrong with the Proxies and 4K HD? Is there any way to work around these issues without having to do the Long and Transfer?
