    Hey all... amidst all this chaos, I am glad to report that the first of our RED PRIMES has just landed, the new 300mm T2.9... both Imperial and Metric.

    Should be in the store on Monday... $5,950

    So, what kind of production rate can we expect on these? Is it going to be similar to the 18-85? Or better (hopefully)? Lenses delivered in order of camera ship date? AFAIK, no pre-orders for this lens were ever taken...

    it will be very similar to the 18-85 roll out at first.. we have about 40 imperial and a dozen metric in right now. Will go out in the order that the orders come in.
