i was watching playback via hdmi and while 4K footage looks great, the 2K stuff looks pretty jaggy. I just installed B17 in case that has anything to do with it since I dont remember it being an issue before.

    Anyone else?

over 240 views and no response. Does this mean no one else is experiencing this or is there a really stupid solution that I'm just not understanding.

All depends on how you're making the 2k? Is it shot 2k or is it shot 4k and viewing as 2k?

Thanks Graeme. this is playback from the camera. 2k shots being viewed as 720p via hdmi out. 4k shots look clean, 2k shots look jaggy.

just curious... did you have the jaggies when you brought the footage into your computer too? or just in the 720 playback? did you get the situation solved and have advice on how to prevent any issues? hope it's all under control...

    Hey guys-

I am getting the same thing as well. 4K stuff looks amazing during playback from the camera, however, the 2K overcranking stuff looks jagged as well on the JVC 17HD monitor. I never noticed it until build 17. I never had an issue with it during 15 & 16.

I believe this is a playback issue from the camera only. I think the shots are safe and will playback fine once rendered out of Red Alert.

    Has anyone else seen this?

If so, am I correct that everything is safe once inside the computer?
