    Hello everyone,

I am following the Avid workflow diagram, and have gotten stuck on a very early step. Not a great start!

I am working in REDrushes, and have loaded my R3D clips as instructed. I select my R3D clips, and go to "Make All Wrappers", the menu appears to be processing and completing the task, but no QT wrappers appear in my output folder.

However, my ALE will effectively save to that output folder.

My option settings are both check-marked as instructed, and I have all of the recent Avid Codecs (to my knowledge). Any reason I am getting help up?

    Thanks!

Make sure you have not spaces or other strange characters in the path to the media or where you're making the wrappers.

Also, check the QT wrapper output options.

    Thanks.

I deleted any spaces in my media path, and have triple checked my qt wrapper output settings. Still no luck.

Nevermind, there was one space left in a folder. Deleted it, and all works well.

    Thanks!

Also, there is no need to make ALL QT wrappers. just select the one you need for the task at hand. Makes the merging later a lot easier.

Not such an obvious thing but thanks for the heads up. Maybe Avid can point this out on their website..... Full file path must have no spaces or strange characters.

That is a REDrushes issue... All third party applications should come with their own documentation. The step by step guide is an attempt at doing so, but again - manufacturers know their own applications best.
