Working as an a.c. with the RED I do miss a simple mechanical button similar to the slide on e.g. grey Arri cameras, that inhibits the functionality of some of the menu buttons.
Changing camera setups, and therefore moving & holding the camera, often results in changing the viewing mode or worse.
Or balancing the camera with for instance an Optimo 24-290 on the base plate can be an awkward undertaking because the hand holding the back side of the camera tends to start pushing buttons.
Any chance of this option being incorporated in future models?
