I finally got all three of my Lomo Anamorphics adjusted properly and took them out for a quick test drive :) (35mm, 50mm, & 75mm Round fronts)

    I really like these lenses.

No filtration, 22 & 180 degree shutter, F2.8-F8, scurve and Kelvin adjustment in REDCINE.

    Mike, you're from Sac? Nice.

I'm originally from Roseville. By the way, when the did they get rid of the orange paint on the Tower Bridge?

On a side note, how are your liking the lenses? What is the total resolution you can utilize when shooting on the anamorphics?

Yeah, they spent major taxpayers dollars to paint the bridge in a gold flake paint, a giant waste of money and a huge eyesore. But, I was down in old sac and figured I would grab a few frames of it. Hard to find an angle that wasn't obstructed by trees.

I love these lenses. They are a bit more difficult to nail focus in certain instances especially on the fly like this but overall they are fantastic. Sharper than I thought they would be. The 35mm is my favorite. Its large (7.5lbs) and awkward and hard to focus by hand without a FF since the barrel is so big, but the flares are magnificent. There is distortion on the edges but I don't mind as much as others I have discussed with. Personal taste. The 50mm is pretty light weight at 4lbs and the 75mm is about 5lbs. All have different flare characteristics and are uniquely great in their own respect. I have a lot more testing and playing to do but I like them a lot so far!
