BMD has an ATEM and camera update next week!

Fingers crossed for some VV 8k 48fps Pocket goodness (with their RGBW sensor design, obviously)... ...Though with BMD it could be a 16k VV Ursa Ultra Mini outta no where or a Pocket Mini 12k 30fps or something... Find out on:

Blackmagic Camera Update - Feb 2021 Live Stream

-Already mentioned a "whole new camera" in the first minute!
-Looks like it could be another Pocket (one with EF and one with a shorter mount)?
-Talking about the Pocket 6k history.
    -BMD Pocket 6k PRO
    -Same Sensor as Pocket 6k
    -Tiltable Screen
-Uses NPF style battery for longer runtime
    -Built-in ND
-BMD Pro EVF optional ($495, in stock/available now)
    -2x mini-XLR
-BMD Battery Pro Grip (holds 2x NPF *and* keeps the int.battery... so 3x total. $145 in stock/available now)
-$2495 on sale now, in stock!

Given the looong wait for my Komodo, if BMD comes out with a global shutter, I'll cancel my Komodo order in a NY sec.

We don’t know if there is even a camera being announced.

Yep, bigger 6K camera using the same sensor as the 6K. Viewfinder that mounts to the top is available. Basically, a more Pro version of the BMPCC 6k. Soooo, my Komodo order stays intact....another month.

Actually, a fairly boring upgrade. And, Gen 5 color science for all models coming in a few weeks.

Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k Pro. Basically the same, but with attachable EVF and built in NDs.

I think fitting ND's in there, adding a tilting bright screen and replacing the battery with a proper sized battery is a big deal. They have fixed everything that was wrong with the original 6k IMO. Its a shame its not a full frame sensor, but this will suit many people.

I will say that's a pretty slick battery grip design. That will make a big difference to some.
