I respect your views. However, for once I have to respectfully disagree with you on your comment relating to this thread. Yes sometimes, heavy streaks do impose issues. If you watch their demo, cinematographer avoided those dreaded streaks even when shooting directly into oncoming vehicle lights. Rest of the commercial depicted rather pleasant imagery albeit they did NOT garner looks of an ARRI, Kowa, Hawk or other much more expensive anamorphic lenses. IMHO, the price you pay for these lenses warrant some respect. It's only a matter of time these upstarts would change the cost of ownership of anamorphic lenses to those who are serious but lack large sums of money to acquire them. In short, empower the creativity not the elite and the affluence.
