its the first Gopro I've bought since the Hero 3 and the image stabilization aside, I'm somewhat underwhelmed. the focus is annoying sometimes and there is still no tap to focus feature. as Bjoern mentioned before, with enough light and being outdoors the camera produces decent results but as soon as the light levels drop a little, it gets ugly very quick.
Id love to see an updated version of the Sony RxoII with image stabilizer.

    Dominik,

Sorry to hear about your experience with the Hero 9. You might be interested in the Sony A7C then. Different price range but reasonably compact with full frame sensor.

thank you good sir will have a look. I went with the gopro because of the 10m water resistance. I mainly just wanted a small run and gun camera to take along everyday.

    Alright then Dominik,

I forgot you're looking for something waterproof as well like a Gopro Hero 9, so maybe the a7C is not really what you are looking for. It seems hard to find a really small compact camera with great picture quality these days. Maybe the low-light performance of the Gopro Hero 9 can improved somewhat with a firmware update or maybe not.
