Mine were serial numbers 0009 and 0023, couldn't be much earlier in the series - that being said, I did pay 400 pounds for each one to be upgraded, which I was told was the cost of the parts only, and it seemed fair to me and happy to have them back with the upgrade. I think there does need to be some consistency in the policy as to what is considered "super early" but that being said, I am not complaining.

Ok, I realise this is my fault for being ambiguous, or using the wrong term.

Where I’ve said free of charge, I should have said ‘at cost of parts only, and without charging for labour or profiting from the job’. It had not occurred to me that people would expect the new set of parts completely free as well as the upgrade service work.

So to be clear, yes there is a cost for the new parts- we provide that at purely trade cost, but we are upgrading the mount free of any charge or fee for the process or any margin on the components and shipping.

My fault for misunderstanding and miscommunication- my office have the message just right and have been consistent to the best of my knowledge.

Hi All

I have a question, is it possible to run a monitor and Red DSMC2 EVF with a wooden camera riser on both so nothing has to be taken off with the kipper tie Revolva?

Yes if you have the WC toolless riser on the bolt-on LCD and the DSMC2 EVF then they fit around revolva nicely.

Toolless riser is great with the EVF regardless IMO.

Last question:

I know the WC top handle does not fit when you add the riser to accommodate Revolva.

To those that know, is this the same for the RED DSMC2 top handle that features an integrated record control and rubberised grip ???
