    Hi lens lovers

I have an immaculate, as new, set of Cooke Panchro/i Classic lenses for sale. 7 lenses.. focal lengths inc 18mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm all lenses are in Feet.

This is my personal set and the simple painful truth is I just don’t use them.

I decided to buy after I did this test and discovered there were an easy and lovely way to get the Classic look with full I/data, better coverage and no yellow lenses. I subsequently abandoned building an old set and bought them.

    https://vimeo.com/213684907

I just wanted them for their combination of full fat Cooke look with modern mechanics and a complete colour match.

However since me and by biz partner don’t hire and also own lots of Zooms, Signature primes, Sigma primes, funky LPL mounted Old Canon lenses, Old Nikors etc etc we simple don’t have need of them enough..

Condition is immaculate and they will receive a full apraisal from Optical support in London before any sale (my cost)

PRICE… I am offering the set for sale at £38,500 inc 2 lovely cases. This is an aggressive sale on price but I am not desperate and don’t really expect to sell for a bit so no low balling please.

This price represents nearly a 30% reduction on the new UK price but actually for the US this is a far better price as sterling is not great…

As soon as the current crises allows I would love to show the lenses off at my London studio but perhaps we could use FaceTime or Skype etc?

I can still drop them for full evaluation at Optical support so if someone did want them soon I can protect you...

    thanks

This frame grab and film is from the last thing I did with these lenses.. the smooth role off and specific texture is clear

many of the optical properties (both good and bad) are very clear from the material... there are a couple of Optimo shots near begging but 97% is Cooke Panchro..

I will post a film with their lens flares next... The combo of a Sth OLPF and these lenses produce the best lenses flares ever for me..

Ps happy to sell set without the 100mm (which I love)

I don't suppose you have a 65mm to sell separately?

The 18,25,32 have had their coverage expanded beyond the original lenses but only to cover s35 properly... the 50mm can do about 36mm width if the height isn’t more that 16.9 would suggest (about 7k on Monstro)... and the 75 and 100 go large...

Sorry no I don’t... but I have tested it and it is definitely a good buy as a beauty macro or just a good lens to have in the set.
