Might be off topic but some competitor from China (I know you all know who I mean) just announced a HUGE price drop, putting its s35 6K camera in the same price range as our beloved lezard !Call me crazy but I don't believe in coincidences :D

    And their large-format 8K is around $8000.

    LF is 6K, not 8K.

If we're thinking of the same manufacturer, they have both an FF 6K and an FF 8K cam. As well as a 6K S35.

Are we seeing the same thing? I'm seeing only $3K for the S35 6K, $5K for the FF 6K, and $6K for the FF 8K.

Personally haven't been too jazzed on footage I've seen, but it could be a cool cam for some.

Consider taking a lutein + zeaxanthin supplement for your eyes. The gummies version is probably best since letting the gummie dissolve in your mouth means some of it is going straight into your blood stream rather than being destroyed by the acid in your stomach before it eventually can get into your blood stream and into your eyes and brain.
I live on the edge of financial ruin and have ever since the RED One, (And yes, I can still laugh about it.) :)

We are definitely NOT talking about the same brand ! XD

I was talking about Kinefinity, not Z-Cam. But I completely understand how we got confused ^_^

True, mixed them up, but still, 6K LF is not to mess with.

Yes, BUT right now, and it's just MY personal opinion (and please aknowledge it is based on the promise of Komodo) : I would rather have the (slightly bigger-ish) s35 Global Shutter 6K sensor, Red's color science and Redcode Raw than the Mavo LF. And I am NOT saying Mavo LF isn't good at all (I actually think it is the closest to an affordable Alexa-ish camera) ;-)

(obviously, if it appears that Komodo isn't keeping up with what I believe it will be, no hard feeling I just won't buy one and go to whatever is the other products that fits my needs, taste and budget)
