I'm pretty new to the RED ecosystem and bought myself a Dragon-X Kit a few months ago.
I'm using the older OLED-EVF and the 4,7" LCD Monitor which came together with the Kit.
Sometimes the monitor bothers me and I want to take it off while shooting. I bought the WoodenCamera Quick Release plate so it would go very quick. I always power off the camera, dismantle the monitor and then power on the camera again. Which takes all in all about 2 minutes. Only taking off the monitor would be about 10 seconds.
Is it possible to just unplug it or is there any danger of destroying something?
Any recommendations?
