Serene or STABIL for Easyrig?

Hiya,
We are looking at getting an Easyrig Vario 5 to work mostly with a Ronin 2 gimbal.
I was going to get a Cineflow Serene, but then I see that Easyflow has released a "STABIL" that does the same thing.

Anyone has tried both?
Here is a short video They used to call it flow, then named to STABIL.
A few thoughts
- Stabil looks nice, but I think its a lot heavier. Normal Easyrig is 5.5kg but with Stabil it is 8kg so that sounds like 2.5kg. The serene is 1.26kg
- I also wonder if it may be trickier to take apart for transportation. Also wonder how easy it is to adjust the length.

I guess we need to find a place to test them, but would be nice to hear if anyone tried them.

We thought we would use it for documentary work or Natural History work.

Same question. We have the serene, wondering if the stabil is worth the upgrade.

Does it take the steps out better than the serene?

biggest thing i see immediately on the stabil, you can adjust the pulley-point on the cord, and can go from Gimbal distance to shoulder distance on one rig, really quickly. Currently, i like the vario5 and serene for our mōvi, but another smaller one like the mini-max for shoulder work.

Readyrig Vega is good, been enjoying mine, theres still no one perfect thing to rule every scenario, Also Flocine has something nice coming...

I tried them both out at 16x9 www.16x9inc.com. I personally liked the Stabil much better and it should arrive this week. I’ll post something when I have additional intel.

Seren has now 50% recuction - but still not sure if I want it. You are very high and its not great in tight places.
Stabil arm is something I want to try!

Gimbal Link looks awesome, but I do not think they have released it yet. I will keep an eye on this.
For now we will hand held the Movi Pro. You wont believe it but Natalie was stronger than me in carrying it, so just has stronger shoulders! So I think it will be me on the remote focus and composition!

Only have perspective on the STABIL but I'm loving it.

Right out of the box with a poorly balanced MOVI I could literally sprint and get usable footage.
