I'm having a hard time finding the ideal cage configuration for my DSMC2 body... I currenly use Wooden Camera and the top plate always causes issues with my 7" Touch Screen (never have issues when connected directly to the brain)

Would love to hear what people are using!

    Thanks

I have the older OMOD Top Plate which works with the 7" fine and that had ribs. The newer Bright Tangerine stuff also seems to work nicely.

I try to keep camera as clean as possible and find the top plates not to be of much use as these cameras are simply to small for top plates especially if having both a handle and a monitor up there.

Instead if needed I have the smallrig sideplates which I like better. As I find it easier to mount wireless and other stuff on those instead of the top of the camera.

+1 I wonder why the rib concept has been dropped? I'm also looking for a smart solution to mount acessories like Video transmitter and sound preamp.
