  1. #1 One Year Tomorrow !!!
    Jim -

Unless I am mistaken, tomorrow is the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the first Red Day, when we got our little babies #6 & #7.

Yes, technically they got swapped for #6x and #7x when Red made the new "shim-free" PL mount - but to us, they will always be ELVIS and MR. BOND.

Anyway, thought I would post now as I am on location tomorrow upstate -

CONGRATS TO YOU AND THE WHOLE RED TEAM - what a fuckin' year, huh?

Feels like a decade sometimes - our cameras have shot well over 50T of Redcode - I wonder where the RED WORLD will be one year from today!

Have a glass of good champagne tomorrow - you and the team really deserve it!

Congrats guys, hopefully your one year has been at least as fun as my half year! Any plans on what you're going to do about a 3rd party warranty?

Well that makes me feel extra special about tomorrow. I'll be getting my Red on Friday, Lord willin' and the creek don't rise. My thanks to all of you, Red Team et al and owners who have gone before and helped give great instruction and guidance. Many thanks.

Yup its been a year tomorrow since I got RED #8 that same night - which was followed very shortly thereafter by receiving two more REDs. In some ways it seems like yesterday - and in others it seems like years ago.

I wouldn't trade the experience of jumping onto the RED express clear back in mid-2005 for anything. Its been a fun ride - and RED revolutionized my own business as they launched their dream into the industry.

Thanks RED for all the courage, patience, long hours, perseverance, and foresight. Those of us on the front lines have benefitted beyond measure...
