  1. #1 New Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K
    $2495, 6K

Similar specs to the 4K except with 6K resolution and EF mount. Larger sensor

Not surprising, given the competition hitting the market. I think it will be a hit with the diehard BMPCC enthusiasts, but I wouldn't place any bets on it going big beyond that.

I'm not convinced it looks better than the 4K model from the sample images online, but it's really hard to tell. I was hoping they would use the Sony FF sensor that's found in the A7III and Mavo LF, but it's still a nice camera, and the prices is the usual competitive prices I would have loved to see built in ND.

If someone develops a focal reducer that fits in the throat of the EF Mount or they release an RF version, it’d be deadly... 6K “full frame/LF” at 50fps for $2500? Yes please!

I wouldn't be suprised if the FF 6K version of this camera is already in the works given the Z-Cam e2 4K m4/3, 6K S35, and 6K/8K FF cameras that are coming out. Blackmagic looks to use similar sensor tech, but except for resolution, there doesn't seem to be any dynamic range improvement over the 4K micro 4/3 Pocket 4K, so I don't know if I'd buy this one at double the price.
