Doing some mid-summer cleaning and came across the Red 19mm lens/bridge support from my Red ONE days. I'd forgotten all about it since all of my lens support is 15mm so it was never used and stashed away.

Can anybody tell me more about and if it looks complete? I have no use for it and might as well sell it if it has any real value.

I love the champagne finish, but this is probably not complete without a spud of some sort in the middle that actually cradles (or screws into) the lens. Not sure what all those cap screws are for.

    Oh, just found this: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthr...D-LENS-SUPPORT

So I'm not sure what exactly you have there. Looks more like an early version of the universal mount.

Lol. Yeah, that "champagne" look really isn't there. The lens on my iPhone is kind of stained. I've been looking for for more info about this support. Hopefully somebody has some info for it circa 2009.

That looks like a top mount for a red one camera, not a lens support.

I can remember using that item for a variety of rigging situations. It can be the base of a lens support, but IIRC you still needed another piece to attach to the rings on most lenses. I definitely used it on top of the RedOne when I needed to mount rods above the lens for various reasons. It was also handy for mounting things behind the camera body for balance.

Many thanks Blair! I was hoping it might still be of some use.

As far as I can tell, those are NOT lens support peices. Theose are the top mount brackets that fit on the round body of the Red One. I still might have some in storage somewhere.

Adorama is selling used ones. This one has a dovetail plate attached:

Thanks everybody. I never had a chance to put it use, but I think I have a good idea now what it is.
