Thinking about getting some LG C9's for client monitoring. Are they significantly better than the C8 series?

Looks like a bunch of good monitors coming also thinking about the ASUS 32" ProArt PA32UCX but it seems delayed.

    Thanks

This review says there's not much difference between the C8 and the C9...

I have the 65” C9 at home and it’s amazing. I’d be terrified with it on set with how thin and fragile it is though.

I got an older C8 for the living room.
So tempted to steal it for future studio ;)

Heck no! I would bring that on set :P

Yes, we're switching over to the C9 this week at our facility. It was time. We could've just gotten a new C8, but I figured, what the hell.

The LG's are a known quantity, everybody has them in LA, and our calibration engineer likes them.

Up here there was a crazy sale on the C8s before Black Friday.

Probably will get a C9 for the media room (home).
