Got one of those converters from Ed Mika (you'll wait at least a month to get yours for future reference).

Here's a quick test I did with it. Will defintely be planning some future shots around the softness and bokeh of this lens.

Awesome! I've got a small FDn set that I had converted by Simmod (using Ed Mika's design) and I LOVE it. Covering all versions of 8k on my Helium. It's a wonderful pair. Wide open you get funkiness, stopped down even a little keeps it sharp. Check some flares out when you can, they're lovely.

I don't have a ton out there right now but I shot this piece with them (except for the underwater stuff, that was 5d with an L series lens)...there's also some decent stock footage in there (hospital shots mostly) - https://vimeo.com/341873871

I did shoot a feature with them and I'm quite excited about that. You can see some stills here, though color doesn't happen until next month so these are from cam with my LUT - https://www.brendanhbanks.com/scare-me

Loved the storytelling in this Cigna one man! Well done. The shot of the road with the tress on both side reallystuck out to me haha. Those are my kinda shots.

Where do I know that guy in the feature from? The first one in the stills

Did you use the Aspherical version of Canon FD 55mm f1.2 or the regular one?
I have as set of Aspherical FDs rehoused and really love those lenses :)
