  1. #1 Best B Camera For Red Dragon
    Hi,
I just got a client to agree to a good deal for interviews, I currently have a Red Dragon as the A cam but need to pickup a b cam. Does any one have any recommendations for a B Cam? It would be great to have one with a variable ND, which gets away from DSLR.

    Thoughts?

If you're going for something above DSLR and under RED/Arri I'd suggest the Ursa Mini Pro.

Iíve shot sit downs with my Red Scarlet Dragon with a GH5 on the wide(r) shot. You can get them to match but you have to lean towards the Panasonic a little, especially in the reds. I used the Vlog on one and CineD on another. Knock down the detail on the GH5.

Itís not stupendous but it works depending on the deliverable.

Same...and Omeno Primers are a good way to put both cameras into a more consistent starting point.

CineD for GH5 is a waste of DR and gamut range and limits what the camera is capable of.

I'd suggest shooting VLog and using onboard preview LUT to see gamma corrected image...or something else.
With that other route, no "leaning" required.

EVA, FS5 + recorder combo, C200 are all very good.
