How to get 8K H264 out of premiere?

    H265 is gamma washed out.

Also how is it possible 8K 265 output looks almost identical in sharpness to 1080 proxy to 4K 264???? Really.

    Andrew,

Unless Adobe has some new way to use it, and that's always possible, I believe h.264 is limited to DCI 4k ( 4096x2160). I never used h.265 that much.

H.264 level 6 and up should support 8K, but I can't speak to Adobe's implementation.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying here. You're saying 8K, 1080p, and 4K all look the same? What resolution is your source footage? They will all look the same if you're up-converting.
