Davinci Resolve Fusion's TimeSpeed Node to delay clip start time

    By Learn Davinci Resolve

If you are working in Fusion and need to delay the start of a clip, the TimeSpeed node is the way to do it. In this video I show you how to use this feature so you can use it in your upcoming projects.

    By MiesnerMedia

Figuring out how to calibrate your decklink reference monitor for Davinci Resolve can be a little confusing. Luckily once you know the trick it's pretty easy. In this quick little demo Theo walks you through how to use DisplayCAL to quickly calibrate your monitor and then load the profile in Resolve

Davinci Resolve 16 Foley Sampler Plugin Tutorial

    By Digital Vector Studios Limited

The new Davinci Resolve 16 Foley Sampler Plugin is built in to the free version of of Davinci Resolve 16 and the Studio version of Davinci Resolve 16. The Foley sampler can be used from the Fairlight Page, Edit Page or the Cut page in Resolve. The Foley Sampler offers a great way to add Foley sounds effects for Film and video projects where it may be difficult to capture great sound while recording. The Foley sampler offers an easy way to customize the sounds, set up a keyboard with multiple Foley sounds and save the custom keyboard as a preset so it can be loaded again very quickly. Blackmagic has promised 500 free Foley sounds for download. I will provide download instructions for the Davinci Resolve 16 Foley sounds as soon as they are released by Blackmagic.

How to Use Adjustment Clips in Your Video Project | DaVinci Resolve 16 Tutorial

    By Chris' Tutorials

Adjustment clips let you apply property changes or animations to one or more of your clips at the same time without directly changing the original clips. Great when you want more than one clip to have the same effect or when you want to test a change without committing it to the clip.

Resolve 16 vs Premiere Pro - THE BIG SHOWDOWN

    by Zebra Zone

Here's my feedback on Resolve 16 Beta, which I truly think is a big deal for editing and post-production. Also talking about a few of its limitations after switching from Premiere which has been my go to editor for 10+ years. Please correct me if some things are unclear or if I'm wrong :) Hope you like it !

!!Caution!! Be aware that Resolve 16 and Resolve 16 Studio are still in beta (unfinished) so it has little issues that are fixed over time. Most people have no issues at all on this beta but I don't recommend you use it for your day to day or critical work if you're a pro.

Generally speaking, Resolve seems to be running flawlessly on Macs. On Windows it works very good on my side, but consider going for a good GPU (such as Geforce 1080Ti which is 7-8 times faster than the Geforce 1050Ti). In both cases, Mac & PC : performance is night and day when compared to Premiere !!

The video was shot with an URSA Mini Pro and a Sigma 50mm ART lens. B-Roll mostly with the BMPCC 4K.

The video was edited, sound mixed, color graded and rendered on Da Vinci Resolve and the VFX parts on After Effects because I'm too new to Fusion. However, the intro sequence had 500 layers, it would have been MUCH SMARTER to do it inside Fusion, which is not based and not layer based.
