    hi guys, I need help.
I'm using Adoby 2019, I realized the abysmal differences between PREVIEW and PGM and final product!
I have exactly the same settings as debayer, playback pause ..
The metadata apparently work almost all, for example D.E.B if inserted works only in the preview ...
Apart from this, the export also has a decidedly noisier aspect of both the Preview and the PGM.
I'm trying both on PC and OSx, Opencl and cuda, I always get the same problem. Monstro Gemini Dragon ...

    can anyone help me?
I posted a picture to make you understand

    With DAvinci everything is fine.

I would double/triple check all the Color Space and Output Transform Settings, particularly in the Master Effects.

    Something is incorrect.

    Phil,
there is some problem, but I can not understand. Both on PC and OSX.

I've also tried now with original files from Red.com.
    Timeline 1920 or 4k,
Setting debayer high, full playback and pause full in preview and program. Master checked and double checked everything ok.
If I change the iso, gamma curve eccec, work well both in preview and in Pgm, if I add, to try, D.E.B only work in preview and not in PGM.
However there is a difference in quality between Preview and PGm, I find the preview much better.
But then again, when I render it in Prores, Dnx, dpx ... the quality is not the same as what I see in the preview or in the program.
I'm wondering if it's just me that I have this problem?

    Luigi,

I don't have Adobe Premiere, however, the ones on the right( Timeline Viewer) seem to using a "Low" or "None" for "Output Tone Map" and maybe a slightly higher ISO. The Ones to Left appear to be using a "Medium" or "Low" "Output Tone Map".

I understand, it may seem, but everything is set correctly.
Davinci do not give me these problems, fortunately I export to XML from Adobe and import into Davinci and get out of it.
Impossible to work, the images are different, but what I do not understand and why if I decide to use some settings in master on the preview go well and on the Pgm do not go !!! ... But then the output rendering is still different ....
If you decide to use iso low note much less.
Perhaps the preview of Adobe uses the CPu, while the PGM the GPU this perhaps generates this problem.
I do not know, I'm just thinking .....

If anyone can figure out where to be the problem please write it down ...

    For now I use Davinci.

Rand you can Try ,adobe is try for 30 days trial ;)

    Luigi,

It seems Adobe is trying to give Blackmagic Designs more business, haha. I use to have Adobe Premiere on my system about 2 or so years ago, I never really liked it as much as I loved Avid Media Composer which I used since version 2.5. I don't know if I can still use the free trial. However, I will try to download it and see if it works.

The 7 day trial seems to be the only thing available to me since it still seems to have my adobe account login still active from 2 plus years ago. Plus it won't let me continue without putting in billing info. I left adobe for the billing issues I had with them, so I don't want to open up that can of worms again.

Could you post your project settings or your Lumetri color effects for this clip?

    Luigi,

I Didn't install Adobe Premiere, didn't want to give Adobe my billing info again, so I can't evaluate the .R3d frame in Adobe Premiere. But again, if you could, post a screengrab of your project settings for this .R3Ds in Premiere and or Lumetri settings?

It is supremely important to make sure you're working and rendering the same video levels- video vs full. Different apps have different nomenclature for this- video or legal vs data or full. Resolve defaults to Auto, which makes sure, that your preview and render end up with the same video levels. You must make sure the same thing happens in PR. Looking at your pictures, to my eye, it looks like it's exactly the issue- mismatched video levels. Where to check it in PR I have no idea...
