agreed. im not even sure a lot of Scarlet owners will jump on this, probably a very limited amount.
$5K is a lot of money for that level and they don't get a better sensor. might of been better to offer 6k Dragon.
though I personally like the 4-5k range as that's all im ever allowed to shoot for tv productions and the sensor size at that resolution is what im used to.

and for raven, $5k was my all in cutoff, with a mount and armor. doesn't make sense to go any higher really. I know about a bounce in frame and data rates, but still, we have a 4.5k dragon already WITH a mount.
a little bit of a disappointment, but ill probably keep my raven until the warranty runs out, all good, saves me money!

    No change there.

Point taken. Apparently it will be $8500 for Raven upgrade to Dragon-X, and for one week only. Would be more economical to sell Raven and buy a Scarlet-W, or sell and go straight to a new Gemini.

Did they just bump the Gemini price by 33% or did I imagine this? I thought it was $15k?

I was hoping this would have been 6K Dragon. That would have been so much awesome.

As Jarred always says, "All good things come to an end." But I think you are pretty safe for awhile. Think more than "days" or "weeks".
