    Hey Guys,

I'm looking for recommendations on small PL mount lenses that would cover the wide end. Looking for no more than 35mm. This would be for the Monstro sensor, so full frame is a must. I currently have a Tokina Vista 25mm, which I find to be a beautiful lens. Only issue is that it is pretty hefty. I'm looking for something a bit smaller for gimbal work.

More or less trying to avoid having to buy an EF mount for smaller lenses if I can find something reasonable for PL that isn't super expensive. Please let me know if you have anything in mind.

    Thanks!

    What’s your budget ?

Sigma PL prime is a little lighter and smaller than a vista.

Xeen is very affordable and lightweight. The front diameter is bigger than it needs to be but it weighs nothing. Can be had for a song on eBay or amazon...

    What gimbal are you using?

    I should really add...

Buying a red VV EF mount is a great investment for you as a monstro owner

You will have sooooo many options by doing that which are cheaper than one PL wide angle lens.

Primarily, the Movi Pro. On a whim and in tight situations, I'm hoping the Ronin-S can do some basic stabilization with it and a small lens.

I may just have to get an EF mount. It will make things a little easier when it comes to renting lenses or borrowing on the fly. There's a lot more EF floating around here than PL. Those XEEN lenses may do the trick for a cheap wide angle though. Thanks!

    ZEISS CP.3. The 35mm weights 1.8 pounds.
