Updated Redcine-X Pro today to build 50.43840. After doing so, I now have these little colored dots all over the image while paused and during playback in Redcine-X Pro and the Red Player. It happens on all clips from different sources. It's never done this on any previous version, including right before I upgraded today.

    OS:
    Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 15063)

    Display Adapter:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (driver version: 23.21.13.8843)(most current as of today)

    Any fix for this?

    Phillip,

I believe the latest version of Redcine-x and Red Player that came out today were both build 50.1.44491

I have Window 10 Pro 64-bit OS Build 15063.726 version 1703. Are you on a version higher than 1703, like version 1709 or higher?

I had to reimage my computer back to version 1607 and I stopped updates after version 1703, 1709 caused redcine- to crash often.

Have you tried uninstalling restart, reinstall restart and see if that helps?

plus, I think the latest NVidia driver for the Geforce GTX 970 is driver 388.43, the same driver that is the most current version for my GTX 980m

I have version 384.93 for my Nvidia GTX 980m running on my computer and don't want to update.

Lately all of my footage with ver. 50 has this double image hyper mosaic like a bad F/X from an 80's music video. Had to revert to ver. 42.

Redcine-x ver. 50 has also killed the support for my red rocket card on both PC and Mac. Ver 42 allows me to use mr red rocket again

Windows version is 10.0.15063.502. I'll be upgrading to a larger SSD drive with a clean OS install in the next few days, so I have to reinstall everything then. Hope that fixes things.

I Hope so Phillip. I Just got through with a redo of my system this morning. The redo was from trying to run redcine during a prores encode and opening up resolve at the same time crashed it last night.
