    Hello all,

Something that's been in the works for a while. Matthew Duclos, Evin Grant, and myself will be sipping on lattes and discussing lenses.

This comes at a good time as we just finished our SALT VV - VistaVision Lens Shootout which we'll be making live after the stream.

If you've got any questions regarding glass for VV or lenses in general, feel free to drop them here.

The stream link will be on the Duclos Facebook Page above, but I'll likely poke a reminder before we are up and rolling so you can tune in.

Well I have a rather complex question and so far I haven't had a final answer. If you have a few minutes, can you have a skim read of this thread and see if the questions that I have raised are suitable material:

Good production values may not be noticed. Bad production values will be.

    Booo Yaaaah...

(chanting) Xenon, Xenon, XENON, XENON, XENON, XENON , XENON, XENON !!!

    Did I mention Xenons?

"Sorry Eric, the Xenons are total pants and OTUS totally smoked them... "..

    'What???"...

    "Noooooooooooooooo...ooo.......o.............o ".

[The contrast tests I have seen on OTUS are scarily good almost like, why would one use any other lens, but we will find out for sure].

So very valuable THANKS a MILLION for DOING THIS @ Matthew Duclos, Evin Grant, and Phill Holland!

When Phil says "VistaVision Lens Shootout which we'll be making live after the stream.".

What does "Live after the stream" mean?

Does that mean they present their findings in live video format + links to specific test results?

Just wondering if we should "Beat the bushes" (a bit) for more people to be seeing the SALT tests? And "Lenses and Lattes", Vis a Vie Vista Vision Red VV?

Given some of the technical challenges that seeing this would or should be a MUST SEE for anyone shooting or wanting to shoot and or order a RED VV based camera? Surely?

I think they mean they will publish it after the live event.

Making live as in they have it pre-loaded but the website isn't "live" yet. Not live as in broadcasting live.
