I thought Jarred was going to Recon this, but....

Here's a great look behind the scenes at RED's Factory here in often sunny Southern California:

There's a great deal of people involved with bringing our gear to life.

It's nice to sneak a look behind the curtain and see their efforts.

    Fantastic!
Important to think about the people behind the scene that 'make' it happen. Thank you!
Not so sure about the guy making off with the individual cased camera at the end!?
    Is he distribution? :))

Definitely crazy to see it all happen. Really goes to show how much work goes into bringing the build quality that RED has.

Had to go back, pause and read the burry sign at the beginning.

    I feel so spoilt! (Seriously).

So wonderful to see so many people employed on US soil, making a US camera/cameras (makes my hair at the back of my neck stand on end). A really sophisticated high end and unique leading world class product.

[I have to admit team RED and Jannard have always been an inspiration for me to really believe it IS possible to do this kind of thing WELL on US soil; and to make it so!].

Also really cool to see HAAS verticals (VMCs Vertical machining centers) being used, another US brand... and Hey even DMG Mori are in Davis... DMG horizontal... nice :-)

Love the hand built aspect and personal responsibility to quality with each individual camera and electronics and testing.

    LOVE IT !

That's how it should be and you get to see the intrinsic value of what you are buying or investing in rather than just purely what image can be munged out of the pipeline YKWIM..?

Very generous and very kind to have a behind the scenes peek.

    Thanks so much for sharing!
