There were many small details that we fixed in the last weeks (we only have 3D files from RED, so sometimes it took us some iterations to figure out the tolerances RED has). Also we changed some of our own design details to optimze the performance. The last parts are being machined right now and we'll ship after IBC. At IBC, you can have a look at the fully functioning (but not fully anodized) final prototypes at booth 12.E69 (with Flowcine, Bright Tangerine, Glaswerk and others).

It's been a long way, but now we are finally getting to ship the units.

They seem incredible built, is there any new footage from new unit? This year I'm not going to be able to go to the IBC, and for the price of this speedbooster I want to be sure of the quality from the footage of it. Another question, will there be any reduction for the launch of the IBC, or will the price be maintained?

Would the PL or EF mount work with Anamorphic lenses? I own the Gemini plus the atlas anamorphics, so curious if I could use this speed booster with my anamorphic lenses.

Hmmm...an interesting idea...but Gemini is already full anamorphic height...the Atas don't have more image circle to give, so all you'd have is a vignetted speed boosted image circle...though it could work if you were cropping down on Gemini at 3K for high-speed I suppose.

It says the atlas has a 31mm image circle, so if I'm doing my math correctly: 5k 6:5 Anamorphic on Gemini would have the sensor at 21.6x18, and then if you divided that by .7 you would get 30.8x25.7, so it would technically barely fit. Hoping I'm doing my math correctly haha, and I'm even okay with some vignette since I think it adds a nice stylistic look to everything.
