Now I really quickly need to find that special project that really demands that I one of each. :)
That was partly my strategy for opting to get the Stormtrooper in addition to my Forged.. my Forged camera will get the VV treatment, Stormtrooper stays Helium l.

What I love about the VV cameras from Red, is that they still retain the modularity of the DSMC2 system. They will also make a great compliment to the DXL, which has a much larger, fixed form factor.

Can we keep our Hellium Sensor @ Red for a swap? Or do we give the Hellium sensor back?
Just making plans and it would be good to know.

Jacob, we will have formal information on the programs next month. But, yes, those of you who got Helium to tide you over until your VV pre-order was ready will have the option to purchase your "loaner" Helium sensor.

That was a reference to the people who bought Carbon 6K weapons with deposits in for 8K VV. The wait for VV was a long one, so they offered to upgrade those people to Helium for free, while they waited for VV to come out.

    (EDIT: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthr...5-Dragon-8K-VV) There it is

Epic-W owners will have to upgrade to Weapon, then buy another sensor. (Epic-W -> Weapon happening next month)

The camera I always wanted. The ultimate DSMC, convergence of stills and photos. Hopefully I will be able to update my Weapon Helium next year. Until then, really, really happy with the Helium sensor.
