  1. #1 Anyone use the knockoff chinese FlowCine Serene with Easyrig?
Looking to add a FlowCine Serene arm to my EasyRig Mini Strong. Unfortunately the Flowcines are crazy expensive (for me) at around $2.3k. I found that there are knockoff Flowcine arms out of china for $300....I'm strongly considering this especially because it doesn't require drilling into my easyrig.

Anyhave have thoughts/experiences on if this is worth it?

The folks from Flowcine contribute a lot to this forum and quite frankly produce some of the most innovative products in this industry. There are several threads already about the knock offs. My advice would be to rent until you can afford the real deal. Problems can arise and you'll be glad you can get the parts and support when you need it.

Knock offs are a terrible idea, both morally, ethically, and technically...as Bob says, you're much better off renting, and saving up for the real thing.

Awe snap!... The sound of the knockoff right before your Red hits the floor.

Definitely the wrong place to post about this. You probably don't realize, but you are posting to some of the people that make a living creating the original quality products that are being knocked off.

Constantine will probably be here shortly to say hi.

Stay away from all the things that give you that floatie feeling and ruin shots for the big screen.

    Hi hahaha thanks man.

Ryan Sherwwod This is a highly proffessional camera forum the Reduser. For people that own cameras and lenses cost of several zeros. Risking your gear and at the same time supporting thiefs that sell illegal products just because they can is not a wise thing. A good support system is actually an investment for your gear not loss.
    Have a nice day.
