NEW MINI MAGS AT A MORE AFFORDABLE PRICETAG !!!! YAY!

We our new to RED and just have our deposit on the Scarlet-W. The thing that has made us cringe price wise more than anything has been the price of the mini mags. I went onto the website yesterday and noticed instead of the 1TB they now have 960gb and instead of 512GB they have 480GB. The 1TB was over $3900 and never in stock. But wow I thought, that is like buying a high priced DSLR. Or close the price of a Zeiss Compact Prime or Celere HS lens. Well I don't mind losing 40gb. The price is now $2950 for the 1 TB and $1850 for the $480. Still expensive, compared to what I've been used to, but a lot easier to justify. Thank you RED!

Phew - I bought a used 512GB for $2200, so it's a bit of a bummer. But I did almost pull the trigger on a used 1TB and glad I waited. The new ones are much cheaper. Saving a good $500.

I did buy a bunch of used 1TBs... oh well. Take a little bit of a hit on the value if I needed to resell them, but they are larger so maybe its worth the extra money.
