Hi, I've serched back a few pages but can't see anyone else with this problem.

The viewing area in RedCine is scrambled. The footage seems to be loaded correctly because when I shrink down the viewing area to 1080 I can see it there. My impression is that the viewing area is displaying a massively magnified segment of the top left hand corner of the screen. I've tried deinstalling and installing the latest version of Redcine but it makes no difference.

I'm running Redcine v.3.0.8 (build 108) on OSX on a MacPro with the following spec:

    2 x 3GHz Dual-Core, Intel Xeon, 4 Gb of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT graphics card, 2 Acer AL2216W displays (1680 x 1050 resolution @ 60 Hz, 32-bit colour)

Any advice/suggestions very gratefully received by this frustrated Red owner!

I get that problem too on my 2.2ghz 15" mac pro, it's on 10.4.11 But only when I go to full res high or medium.

I think 10.5 might solve it - I'll try that next week.

I've gone into a production company's edit suite today and having the same issue on the latest and earlier versions of Redcine.
    Macbook pro with geforce 7300.
    Not impressing the potential clients...

The thumbnails look fine in player and library screens, but the viewer is just a big blur.

    Footage is 2k 16:9 and 4k 16:9 build 15.
Need an answer on this.... :(

We're still having this problem. We have 2 identical spec edit suites. One runs redcine fine, the other is the problem described by the first post above.

    Any ideas?

Do you try to update the system ? My client machine has such incident and i told them to do software upgrade, it went fine until the "Black Panda" like what Bruce mentioned, where u cannot browse anything and no solution for that.
